A bit of Paris, IN SF

Loosely translated to “good delirium,” Bon Délire (pronounced bon dey-leer) offers a dizzy good time with its waterfront view, traditional French foods such as quiche Lorraine and steak frites and delectable cocktails.

Not just modern French cuisine, Bon Délire is a place where people can immerse themselves in the energy, flavors, and spirit of Paris. This includes scenes from French movies broadcast onto the wall, a DJ booth with a face-out display of vinyl and a curated ambience of Frenchitude.

Come enjoy shareable plates and small bites—and if you can’t stay, you can order at a takeout window from a selection of daily specials. Perfect for Financial District workers who need lunch on-the-run.

At night, Bon Délire feels more like a lounge with larger portions and more shareables. You can expect hors d’oeuvres like a dish of six escargot with shallot port marmalade, entrées like dry aged prime beef rib eye with sauce poivre and frites and desserts like a chocolate mousse with crème chantilly. All the classics from our French founder’s childhood in Paris.

FOUNDER
Kais Bouzadari

Kais enjoyed a magical childhood growing up on Ile Saint-Louis, the little island tucked behind Notre-Dame Cathedral, smack dab in the center of Paris. His father immigrated from Tunisia to the City of Light at 18 years old, married a French woman, and worked his way from dishwasher to server to owning a small creperie. Bouzidi and his brother used to run through the family restaurant and munch on Nutella crepes.

Today in San Francisco, Bouzidi owns Barcha and Sens, Middle Eastern and Mediterranean restaurants with nods to his North African roots. Now, he’s introducing us to his French upbringing, with the opening of Bon Délire.
